Journal of Asians in the Americas
The Journal of Asians in the Americas strives to bring to the public sphere a comprehensive, holistic approach to the topic. The Journal is different in that we feel that scholarly research must be coupled with creative, artistic pieces so as to fully engage the topic, hearing from voices from both within and outside the community.
First, we seek and encourage the submission of rigorous, scholarly research regarding the many facets of what it means to be Asian in the Americas. We encourage scholars regardless of discipline to submit their papers, which will undergo the peer-review process.
Moreover, we feel that the voices from the community are an important element of this approach. We encourage submission of creative works, including essays, poetry and short stories.
